Temporary Linux files
The Linux machine runs in your browser. Every visit starts from a fresh system when you choose Boot Linux. Files you create or install stay in that running guest and disappear when you reload, close the guest, or start a fresh session. Trove has no visitor accounts or saved guest environments.
Browser preferences
Local storage remembers display settings, language, and whether the welcome popup has appeared. The current site asks your browser to delete its old guest checkpoint databases when it loads. Offline browser copies cannot be erased remotely; you can clear this site's browser data to remove them and your preferences.
Hosting and requests
Your browser requests public pages, media, and Linux runtime files from the website. Hosting and network providers receive the connection information needed to serve those requests. The server uses client addresses in memory for request limits. Guest networking on the public site is disabled.
Diagnostic downloads are created locally when you request them. Review a diagnostic file before sharing it.
